Dear friends,
It is some time since we were last in contact. I have been writing once again and have produced a 40-day devotional with photos of Cyprus. The book, 'A Heart of Wisdom', includes advice for younger Christians who are setting out in life and facing major decisions as well as nuggets of wisdom gleaned over the years. It is available in hardcover, paperback and Kindle editions on Amazon.

After several weeks at home in Northern Ireland, I have returned to this beautiful island. There are signs of the imminence of 'autumn' as trees begin to shed their leaves, weaving a withering carpet in the hot sun. While the crisp coolness of autumn does not come to Cyprus, we are still won by its "mute appeal to sympathy for its decay." (Robert Browning)

Decay has to come before renewed hope.
The world is in constant decay - our hope is in the Lord and His soon return.
Many are the plans in a person’s heart,
but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21
At the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Philippians 2:10-11
Wishing you a time of blessing in this new season and, for those going through deep trials and tribulations, my prayers are for you.
Every blessing,
Olive.
