I had noticed the sign for Zygi many times along the motorway and recently I decided to go and discover this little gem. It was 9 am by the time I arrived at the marina with an outside temperature of more than 30 degrees and a bright cloudless sky as a backdrop.
This peaceful haven reminded me of Psalm 46:1 which says "God is our refuge and strength". He offers a 'haven of rest' to those who yearn for peace and inner stillness. The hope He gives is an "anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast" (Hebrews 6:19).
I kept driving past Zygi until the morning I decided to explore. Maybe you have ignored God's signposts until now. All He offers will pass you by until you decide to explore His mercy and redeeming grace.
